A signature menu item, Truffle and Parmesan Fries are not to be missed. We begin with fresh Russet potatoes which are cut and cooked to order. Freshly chopped Italian parsley and grated Parmesan cheese blend with black truffle sea salt and our aromatic truffle oil to finish off a classic truffle pairing.  These French fries are so good; they have developed a reputation all unto their own, and have been called “To-die-for” by Sunset Magazine.

GMO-Free Soybeans are blanched to perfection and served in the pod with sea salt.  This healthy alternative to our more sinful sides is perfectly seasoned and high in protein which the Denver Post compliments as “The pop-in-your-mouth soybeans are a nice departure from the typical burger joint.”  At Larkburger we use soybeans and Edamame interchangeably to honor to the beans status as America’s heartland crop, as well as a complement to our menu items influenced by Asian cuisine such as the Ahi Tuna Burger or Chopped Kale salad.

Early in his cooking career, Thomas Salamunovich started where most chefs do, in the garde manger station preparing salads and soups.   Thomas spent months perfecting his chili recipe to impress the likes of Wolfgang Puck in a hopeful attempt to move into a more advanced station, and Larkburger will be forever in debt to that eager dedication as his recipe from the 1970’s is still the one we use in our restaurants today.

Our tomato based chili is prepared fresh in house made from black beans, kidney beans and hominy which add great texture and color. Cocoa adds an earthiness and depth of flavor to a well blended combination of Chimayo, Ancho, and New Mexican Chilies. Finished with Veal Demi-Glace, the beefy flavor and velvety texture makes our chili one of the best.  An onion and cilantro garnish gives the chili a fresh, crisp bite and is accompanied by gluten-free masa chips, fried fresh to order.

The chili is served in both a bowl and cup size and can be a filling meal, or the perfect side dish to accompany a burger or salad.
