Judges included Jenna Johansen (Around the World in 80 Plates), Max Mackissock (Squeaky Bean), Daniel Asher (Linger + Root Down), and Hosea Rosenberg (Top Chef Season 5 Winner).
Says Asher, “I took one bite, and I knew it was the one. I appreciate that Larkburger took a more subtle approach, focusing on a delicious burger but amped up with the Truffle aioli. After trying 11 other burgers, I still ate the whole thing and thought to myself ‘This tastes like my childhood – this is the quintessential burger.’”
The winning “Bacon-Cheddar Truffle Burger” included Applewood smoked bacon, Tillamook cheddar, Truffle aioli, House ripened tomato, Leaf lettuce, Sliced red onion, 100% Certified Angus beef and Brioche bun. Find this burger (for $7.95) at all locations beginning on Friday, Aug. 24.
